The design of this magnificent gold and silver-plated tabernacle was inspired by the Cathedral of Freiburg, Germany, a masterpiece of Gothic architecture. The tabernacle door is plated with 24 Kt gold and silver, and features images and symbols of the Four Evangelists. The entire tabernacle is carved in deep relief to give it the appearance of a brick fatade. The roof of the tabernacle is topped by an ornate cross. Designed and constructed by highly-skilled Spanish craftsmen, this tabernacle is perfect for reverent reservation of the Blessed Sacrament.
