'Grace' has Minnesota roots. In 1918, in Bovey, MN an elderly peddler named Charles Wilden called on Eric Enstrom at his photography studio. Enstrom was impressed by something in Mr. Wilden's peaceful, kind face, and had him pose with simple items, head bowed in thanks for his meager meal. Enstrom said, 'I wanted to take a picture that would show people that even though they had to do without many things because of the war they still had much to be thankful for.' In timeless fashion, the picture still conveys that meaning today. This 10x12 linen-finished print is oak-framed and gift boxed.
