Michael is the patron of policemen, sailors and those in peril at sea, paratroopers and all of those in battle, those tempted, the sick and dying, and cemeteries. His Feast day is September 29th. This St. Michael medal is sterling silver, about the size of a nickel with the front of the saint medal depicting the image and name of St. Michael. The back of the medal is blank allowing for personalized engraving which is available for $9.95 here. The medal comes on an 18 inch, stainless steel chain with a clasp closure which is an appropriate size for women or young boys up to the age of 10.
