The memorial teardrop line of jewelry arose from designer Kathy Bernu's grief over a heart-breaking loss. As she sat in her studio one morning, she realized she was sketching a tear drop. She drew a rose in the center as a symbol of her love, then crafted the design as a pendant to wear and hold.
