Saint Therese of Lisieux, also known as St. Therese of the Child Jesus or "The Little Flower", was a 19th century Carmelite nun. She is well known for her autobiography Story of a Soul, and died in 1897 from tuberculosis. St. Therese is patron of France, and those suffering from tuberculosis, and of the Catholic foreign missions.
