In the Greek language, periodeia is the word which means tour and Dadant artisans have brought into being a paschal candle to symbolize the full scope of this translation. The journey lies rich before us, represented by three striking burgundy-colored blocks that depict the mortal trials in the ultimate journey of Christ. Each block is carved in bas-relief and outfitted with gold overlay. The ample cross, devised from the same symbolic wine color, rises dramatically from the candle as the focus of our tour, the reason for our journey, the emblem of our faith, in which all our trials are triumphant.
