St. Daniel the Stylite was a pillar saint from the 5th century who spent 33 years living atop a pillar. While living on this pillar, he was ordained, delivered prophecies, and became a sort of pilgrimage site for the faithful. He is the patron saint of prophecy and his feast day is celebrated on December 11. The St. Daniel medal features a seemingly three dimensional detailed image, which is graded above the surface level of the medal. The medal is crafted from the finest sterling silver and is about the size of a penny. The clasped, curb-style 18 inch chain is rhodium-plated to help maintain its shine. The St. Daniel medal is ideal for Communion, Confirmation, and Name Day gifts. Packaged in an attractive green velvet hinged box, ready for gift-giving!
