Adorn your ears with these authentic Irish earrings made by the Solvar Company of Dublin and experience a touch of the rich legacy of Ireland. The earrings are made of sterling silver and designed in the shape of the popular lucky shamrock. They measure 1/2 inch wide and 1-1/8 from the bottom of the earring to the top of the wire and come on Eurowires which keep the earring closed and securely on the ear. The shamrock leaves are shaped like stylized hearts with smooth sleek silver lines and feature insets of the fabulous Connemara marble, the marble that is known for its color, is found only in Ireland and is over 600 million years old.

Throughout the years the shamrock has symbolized a variety of things from rebellion to sacredness to life. It is even the logo used on Ireland's national airline. St. Patrick is said to have used the shamrock to help explain the Holy Trinity. And, of course, it is considered lucky. So much going on in one small item of jewelry! The earrings will be a delightful gift to give or receive for occasions like birthdays or anniversaries or for holidays like Christmas and Valentine's Day. You will delight in giving them and they will be received with pleasure.
