Discover the patron saint of healthy throats, builders, construction workers, veterinarians and animals with this St. Blaise holy card. The folded holy card is made in Italy and features Fratelli-Bonello artwork with gold stamped trim. Inside this 5-3/8"H x 3-1/4"W piece is his biography, feast day, the meaning of his name and a prayer in his honor. The front cover of the St. Blaise holy card is a classic Italian portrayal of the saint. St. Blaise is shown curing a child with a fish bone stuck in his throat wearing his Bishop attire.

The St. Blaise holy card biography tells of living in the fourth century as Bishop of the city of Sebaste, Armenia. He was a physician, too, that healed people and animals. He escaped into the mountains to live in a cave when the Church was being prosecuted. He was discovered by hunters and brought before the governor, but on the way he cured a child of a stuck fish bone. He was martyred when he refused to worship pagan idols. This St. Blaise holy card is inspiring for anyone who falls into his patron saint categories.
