St. Christopher Pendants

St. Christopher is traditionally known as the patron saint of travelers, because of the historical figure 'Offero' (Bearer) who 'served God and man' by carrying people across a treacherous river that had taken many lives. It is believed that the Christ Child asked to be carried, to which Offero obliged; however, the Child became heavier with every step, and eventually revealed His identity, explaining that the heavy burden was the sins of the world. Hence, the name Christopher (Christ-bearer).
